Intro
As we explained in our article about xIHS, Infinity Hash share holders are able to “stake” their shares in order to obtain xIHS. These xIHS are Solana tokens backed by IHS that may be withdrawn from the platform at the discretion of the holder. This offers the possibility to custody them yourself, trade them on a different exchange, or send them wherever you want.

Staking IHS to Receive xIHS
Step 1: Access the Staking Section.
Start by navigating to the Infinity Hash dashboard and selecting the “Stake IHS” option from the left-side menu. This will take you to the staking page, where you have options to stake tokens, unstake them, and some valuable information such as your balances, the staking ratio, and your staking history.
Step 2: Enter the Amount to Stake.
On the staking page, the staking window will be on the left. Simply enter there the number of IHS shares you wish to stake. If you want to stake all your available shares, you can click on the “Max” button. Below will be reflected the amount of xIHS you will receive once you finish the staking process. This amount is calculated using the staking ratio.
Once you’ve entered the amount, proceed by clicking the “Stake IHS” button.
Step 3: Confirm and Complete the Stake.
A confirmation pop-up will appear to ensure you’re certain about staking the specified amount. After you confirm by clicking “OK,” you’ll receive a success message, and your xIHS tokens will be credited based on the current staking ratio.
How to Unstake xIHS and Receive IHS
Step 1: Access the Unstaking Section
To convert your xIHS back into IHS, navigate to the staking page by clicking on “Stake IHS” on the left-side menu of the dashboard. On this page, the unstaking menu can be found on the right side. This is the menu that allows you to unstake your xIHS, thus converting it back to IHS.
Step 2: Enter the Amount to Unstake
On the unstaking page, enter the amount of xIHS you want to convert back into IHS. You can select your full balance by clicking the “Max” button. Here as well you will notice below the amount of IHS you will receive after unstaking, which is calculated using the staking ratio.
Once you have typed the right amount, click on the “Claim xIHS” button to initiate the conversion.
Step 3: Confirm and Complete the Unstake
A confirmation pop-up will appear, and once you click “OK,” your IHS will be credited to your account. You’ll receive a success message to confirm that the process was completed.
