This is our seventeenth post in the Infinity Hash Weekly Update series for November 27th, 2023.

This week we have seen a small decrease in mining rewards, added a new miner and had to deal with several major DDOS attacks that took down the dashboard and some websites.

You can always get a full overview of past charts and numbers on the Weekly Updates page.

Project Updates

Infinity Hash in Numbers

This week we saw more or less stable Bitcoin prices and added a new miner to the pool. However, transaction fees on the Bitcoin blockchain were significantly lower than last week, resulting in lower rewards. Low temperatures provided excellent cooling, resulting in minimal impact on our new miner’s power costs and generally higher mining efficiency. These are the numbers for week 47, 2023 from 2023-11-20 to 2023-11-26.

New webcam in an Infinity Hash container for more transparency

To provide additional transparency, we have set up a webcam on the hot air exhaust side of an Infinity Hash mining container, which will continue to stream the miners running live. You can watch the live stream on our YouTube channel.

We have also added a detailed post about the recent DDOS attacks and what we have done to protect against similar attacks in the future.

Links and Outlook

Infinity Hash Articles and Socials

Over the last few weeks we have added two important pages for Infinity Hash. The first is our share price calculator, which allows anyone to calculate and reproduce how the price of Infinity Hash shares is determined. The second page is a new page we added to give everyone a better way to check the current status and functioning of various systems and services such as the Dashboard, API or our BTCPay server instance.

Şeffaflık

  • ViaBTC Pool: Get a complete and transparent overview of the Infinity Hash mining pool.
  • ViaBTC Workers: A detailed live list of all miners in the Infinity Hash pool, including their current status
  • Reinvest Wallet: The reinvest wallet where 50% of all profits are sent to buy new miners for the community. You can see incoming reinvest transactions under “Transfers” in the form of incoming USDT transactions. The wallet address is: TMaymjtdjGkS7n2uHbGQX2emznyD6pZVx4

Outlook and Mining Forecast

With a new miner, our new DDOS protection online and more mitigations coming this week, we expect to see slightly higher profits and much better uptime than last week ( aided by even lower temperatures).

Weather conditions

The forecast for this week continues to show lower temperatures with an average of -3.4°C / 25.8°F. This should provide really good temperatures for cooling and increase overall profits.

As always, it has been a pleasure to provide you with the latest information on the Infinity Hash project. We wish our community a great week and happy mining together!
