As we’ve emphasized before, community engagement is one of the core values at Infinity Hash. This is because we want to ensure that the project advances in a direction that agrees with the preferences of the community. In order to achieve this, we recently conducted a survey to get your feedback on what we’re doing well and where we can improve. The results have given us a better understanding of what our users appreciate most and the areas where they’d like to see changes.

In this article, we’ll explore some of the positive feedback we received, and dive a bit more deeply into the suggestions for improvement, covering topics like requests for more languages, increasing liquidity, and improving our advertising efforts. Your feedback is shaping our next steps, and we’re excited to share our plans moving forward.

What Users Love About Infinity Hash

Users have expressed enthusiasm about many of Infinity Hash’s features. Here’s a few:

a) Transparencia

Users commented in multiple cases how much they value our transparency efforts. Infinity Hash publishes daily farm updates, weekly data reports, and a more thorough monthly report containing all earnings, expenditures and miner purchases. You can stay up to date on all of this by following our social media, or directly clicking on the “Transparency” tab of our blog.

b) Ease of Investment

Providing a simple way to invest in Bitcoin mining is one of our main goals. With Infinity Hash, investors don’t need to have any kind of technical knowledge in order to obtain a profit. They can simply purchase shares and start receiving daily rewards right away. Infinity Hash shares don’t have any kind of lock-up period, and don’t expire, ensuring you receive a steady income indefinitely. The UI is also designed with simplicity in mind, and investing does not require the installation of any Crypto wallet and such.

c) Community Engagement

Infinity Hash users have praised the team’s active engagement with the community. Frequent interaction not only fosters a sense of transparency but also reinforces the trust users place in the platform. This level of engagement shows that customer satisfaction remains a top priority for the Infinity Hash team. By listening to feedback and maintaining an open dialogue, Infinity Hash ensures that the evolving needs of its users are being met.

d) Customer Service

We’re proud of the positive feedback on our customer service. Whether users have questions or need assistance, we are always here to provide quick, helpful responses. Remember that you can ask us any questions about the project through any of our social media. For questions related to your account, please contact: [email protected].

e) Constant Updates

Infinity Hash consistently strives to improve user experience by regularly updating the platform. Our users have praised the introduction of new features, enhanced UI, and the addition of various options and visualizations that make managing their investments smoother and more intuitive. These improvements will continue to be implemented as needed.

Addressing Areas for Improvement

Users also pointed out a few concerns and made suggestions on what to improve. Here are the most frequent comments we got, and our response.

a) Concerns About Adding Other Coins

Some Bitcoin purists (Maximalists) are concerned about the addition of altcoins to our platform. While Infinity Hash added reward pools for other coins, we continue to mine exclusively Bitcoin, and we have no intention of mixing Bitcoin and altcoins in the future. The only exception to this are merge-mined altcoins that are sold automatically by our mining pool. Participating in any reward pools is and will continue to be entirely optional. Users that want to mine and receive rewards in Bitcoin only will always be able to do so. Nevertheless, we believe that offering altcoins can benefit the community as a whole by attracting a broader audience, which ultimately strengthens Bitcoin mining efforts.

b) Request for More Languages

Several users asked for more language options. While adding some languages, such as German, may present legal challenges right now, we are working to introduce additional languages once we finish key updates to the platform. Our priority is delivering a complete and bug-free experience in English first, and once that’s accomplished, we will roll out translations. We calculate that by the end of 2024 the platform will be stable enough and we will be able to start working on the approximately 20 translations that our users requested.

c) Increased Advertising

Some users also requested more marketing efforts. While we would love to increase advertising, we are carefully balancing budgets to ensure that we can maintain the highest-quality services. Our main focus now is improving the dashboard’s ease of use before investing heavily in paid advertisements. For the moment we are establishing long-term partnerships that will help us promote our brand in the future.

d) Improving Liquidity for xIHS

We’ve heard the calls for increased liquidity for xIHS. Rest assured, we’re working on adding more liquidity through platforms like Raydium and CoinEx and will ramp up liquidity even higher if trading volume increases.

e) Simplifying the Website

While some users enjoy the current advanced dashboard, others have expressed a desire for a simpler version. We’re working on a basic version of the dashboard, which will be launched alongside the current “pro” version by the end of this year. This will also constitute the basis for a potential Infinity Hash phone app.

f) More Transparency on Infrastructure Costs

Although we can’t disclose all costs due to legal and partnership agreements, we remain committed to providing as much transparency as possible. Nevertheless, some data will have to remain unpublished due to the requirement of signing NDA’s by some providers in order to offer better prices.

Users are also able to verify that expenditures continue to be balanced by monitoring the price per Terahash when buying IHS, particularly when comparing it to publicly listed companies. Additionally, at some point in the future we could add to the reports overall infrastructure costs on a per MW or per container basis.

g) Green Energy Usage

As of today, our operation runs 100% on Hydro power, which has zero emissions. As for the new gas-based location, our energy source will be flare gas. Flare gas is a biproduct of oil extraction, composed mostly of methane. Methane is a powerful greenhouse gas, that could have negative effects on our atmosphere if released. By burning it, the methane is transformed into carbon dioxide and water, which have a weaker greenhouse effect. Up until now, burning the methane was not productive, as there was no economically viable way to use this energy. Today, thanks to Bitcoin mining we are able to recover this energy and use it to power the first decentralized financial system of the planet.

h) Addressing the 20% Marketplace Fee

The 20% cost on selling shares was voted in by the community as the best way to prevent looping. However, we plan to revisit this with another community vote soon, ensuring that everyone has a say in whether this fee stays or goes. Learn more about why the fee was originally implemented here:

i) Depositing xIHS

We understand that it is crucially important to deliver this feature in order to provide opportunities for arbitrage, among other things. This, together with the statistics page are our main priorities right now and will be released as soon as development finishes.

Conclusion

At Infinity Hash, we’re constantly evolving based on your feedback. We’re committed to maintaining the transparency, simplicity, and community engagement that our users love while addressing concerns to improve the platform even further. Your voice matters, and we’re grateful for the insights that help us shape Infinity Hash into a stronger, more resilient platform.
