This week we added a few new miners, met some community members at the Bitcoin Amsterdam 2023 conference, and completed major development on the marketplace.

Infinity Hash en números
This week we saw a slight decrease in Bitcoin prices and added two new miners to the pool. This resulted in roughly the same rewards as last week, including slightly higher energy costs. These are the numbers for week 41, 2023 from 2023-10-09 al 2023-10-15.

This week we have assigned our entire development team to the finalization of the Community Marketplace. This will also be the case in the coming week, and was necessary to achieve sufficient quality. To go into some detail, here is a teaser of some of the features we have in store for you:
- Limit Sell Orders
- Selective Buy Orders (buy individual sell orders)
- Aggregated Market Buy Orders (automatic purchase of the cheapest sell orders from the order book)
- Transparent trading volume display
- Buy-Back functions in the backend (purchase of sell orders from the community via the Reinvest function if these sell orders are cheaper than the current share price)
In summary, everything is designed to keep the share price stable for the community and the long term nature of the project on the one hand, and on the other hand to offer community members who want to sell their shares the maximum possible liquidity and thus minimize risk.

Important Mining News this Week
This week, we attended Bitcoin Amsterdam 2023, meeting with some of our community members and talking with representatives from other companies in the mining industry. Here are some key points and a bit of information from the conference:
- Global electricity prices are still high, creating difficult times for many miners, from small solo projects to large publicly traded mining companies.
- Some of the larger mining companies had keynotes on stage and talked a lot about their halving strategies (buying miners today and using stranded energy in the US) and data center optimization.
- Even though many talks had titles that included “European Mining” in the title, they mostly discussed US locations and Iceland, which suffer from high energy prices and insufficient space for new miners, respectively.
- Many Bitcoin mining projects and investors are looking for locations and jurisdictions with cheaper electricity prices.

With further development progress in the background and 2 new miners online, we are expecting a week of higher profits for the community and growth if we manage to finish all the required features to get the marketplace online.
Weather conditions
We are expecting a week of mixed weather and have arrived in the fall in terms of temperatures. The forecast for this week is an average temperature of 3.6°C / 38.5°F. This should result in even better cooling conditions and slightly higher payouts.
