This week we added no new miners. Mining profits for Infinity Hash went up and share price for IHS going up even though Bitcoin went down.

Equipment cleaning
The Antminer S19s continue to be cleaned to ensure optimum performance of all hardware and to prevent overheating. After cleaning, each miner is checked and configured after being placed in the container.
Protection from rain
The rainy season has begun in the Southern Urals. As the containers are installed on concrete supports, water doesn’t get inside. All containers are fully operational.
We’ve also decided to upgrade the canopies over each container to a more advanced protection system. Metal sheets have been brought to the farm for this purpose and construction work is expected to start soon.
Alternative internet connection
Our technicians installed an antenna to provide an alternative internet connection in case of an emergency disconnection from our main internet provider. And now the farm is ready for any unexpected situations.

This week there was no relevant downtime. Actually, the pool hash rate got really stable after finishing all the rain protection, cleaning, maintenance and cold- / hot-zone work. In the screenshot from our ViaBTC watcher link, you can see how stable the projects pool got after the last updates.

New northern Asia location acquired!
We acquired a new mining location in northern Asia, which has direct access to flare gas (gas that would otherwise just be burned) and a total free capacity of about 100 MW. This location will be able to provide us with an electricity price of about $0.015/kWh and can help to bring down the average electricity cost of the full project to about $0.019/kWh.

Community Vote #8 is Online
Our eighth community vote is online in the dashboard with the following proposal:
#8 Should we increase the minimum IHS price to $2?
We have acquired a new location in northern Asia with direct flare gas access and free capacity for about 100 MW. This location can provide us with an average electricity price of $0.019 to $0.015 per kWh, but needs a few months of continuous investments to increase the efficiency of the existing gas turbines. This means we will be taking more of the sales revenue of new shares to get everything ready, with the mid-term result (EOY 2024) of earning significantly higher mining profits for all shareholders. A side effect of this might be a short-term reduction of the IHS price because fewer miners are bought with purchasing proceeds, even though the infrastructure behind each share is getting more efficient and profits per IHS as well as its price are going to increase significantly. Fixing the minimum IHS price to $2 would effectively prevent new investors from diluting IHS from existing investors during the build-out of the new location.
- Yes: Increase the minimum IHS price to $2.
- No: Keep the minimum IHS price at $1.

Transparency Report #11
Transparency Report #11 for July 2024 is available for reading and download on the transparency reports page! In July we did a lot of repairs and maintenance work. Repair costs have been added to the transparency report as always when we deduct funds from the reinvestment wallet.

Weather conditions
The current weather conditions at the mining farm are: Passing clouds. Cool. Current temperatures at 12.91°C / 55.24°F provide good cooling conditions, with the weather forecast showing an upward trend in temperatures. This should result in stable profits.
