This is our fourth post in the Infinity Hash Semanal Update series for August 28, 2023.
This week we have some improvements for swapping from BTC to USDT on the dashboard and a whole list of update announcements.

Infinity Hash en números
This week we continued to see a slight decrease in rewards and reinvest amounts due to the continued slow decline in the price of Bitcoin. Despite this obstacle, we were able to add 3 new miners, increasing the amount of generated Bitcoin by over 4%. These are the numbers for week 34, 2023 from 2023-08-21 al 2023-08-27.

This week we are working on preparations for a complete redesign of the dashboard and completed the long-awaited community feature request for Micro-Converts.
a) Micro-Converts Update
We are pleased to announce that we now support BTC to USDT conversions (swaps) with a minimum amount of 0.00001 BTC. This update was announced in last week’s report and was made due to frequent requests from our community.
We have decided to aggregate all small swaps (under about USD volume / swap) into 10 minute time frames and execute them together. In case there is a time frame with not enough volume to trigger a market order with one of our connected exchange providers, MEATEC as a company will fill in the needed amount to make sure we can provide a consistent and enjoyable experience for our community. The average execution time for small swaps will therefore be around 5 minutes, with a maximum execution time of 10 minutes. Normal swaps (typically over 10 USD in volume per swap) will maintain their average execution time of 1-3 minutes.
We hope that this update will be of value to the community and provide a better dashboard experience for users with smaller portfolio values by allowing them to convert amounts of BTC below 1 USD into USDT. In the background, this new option will allow for more swap updates in the future.

This week we added 3 new miners that increased the community pool hash rate by 348 TH. One of the miners was purchased using the reinvest wallet and will increase future profits for all Infinity Hash shareholders. The other two miners were purchased through the purchase of new shares.

Maintenance and Downtimes
There were no major incidents this week, resulting in an official uptime of just over 99%. In practice, we have taken a few miners out for short periods of time to clean them as usual.

a) Dashboard improvements update
We are currently preparing a major dashboard update. This will include a new design based on the Infinity Hash colors and a lot of user experience improvements. If all goes well, you will see the first changes to the dashboard later this week. We will keep you updated on all new features and updates on Telegram, Discord and Social Media.
b) Buy Infinity Hash Shares with Bitcoin
One of our long-term goals has always been to make Infinity Hash usable without touching any assets, coins or tokens other than Bitcoin. The first key part to achieve this goal was the integration of BTCPay Server, which allows deposits without fees and without relying on third party services. The second key part will be to allow the purchase of Infinity Hash Shares directly with Bitcoin instead of having to convert to USDT first.
With the upcoming update, everyone will be able to buy shares directly with BTC. We expect to launch it along with the first dashboard updates this week.
c) Marketplace update
The new dashboard will include the long-awaited marketplace, which will allow buying and selling of Infinity Hash shares within the community, as well as buybacks by the entire project. This will allow trading of Infinity Hash shares and add a cash out option for community members who wish to sell their shares. The marketplace will be added to the new dashboard as soon as we have finished testing all the necessary functionality and the main page of the new dashboard is online. We expect the marketplace to go live this week or next.
d) Bitcoin Amsterdam 2023
In case you missed last week’s update report, we would like to remind you that we will be attending Bitcoin Amsterdam this year. The conference will take place from October 12th to 13th. We look forward to meeting some of you :).

Perspectiva y Previsión de Minería
With 3 new miners added this week and a few more planned for next week, we expect to see a steady increase in the hash rate and are interested to see how the BTC price performs throughout the week. If we see an increase in price, the mining rewards will also adjust significantly upwards, if not, we should be able to maintain more or less the same reward amounts as last week due to the new miners and the 50 / 50 reinvestment strategy of the project.
Weather conditions
We expect a cold and rainy week with Sunday being the only day with a low chance of precipitation. The average temperature is expected to be 11.9°C / 53.4°F. This is slightly colder than last week and should help mitigate the effects of a low Bitcoin price on profits.
