This is our 35th post in the Infinity Hash Semanal Update series for April 1, 2024.
In these three weeks, we have added a lot of new miners. Mining profits for Infinity Hash were stable, with some downtime and the share price for IHS going down a bit with Bitcoin. Make sure to check the transparency and dashboard update sections for some important news and announcements.

Due to the charts always going back 3 months, we decided to just put them in one chart gallery with everything missing since the last post and up to our latest data.

Share price calculation adjustment
Since we didn’t see the hardware prices increase as expected over the last few months, we decided to make a small change to the way the direct share price is calculated. We do this at a point when the Bitcoin price is at a level that might be our last chance to change it to a more long-term function and make sure that existing and new investors are and will be happy with the change.
The immediate and mid- to long-term effects of this change will be two things:
- A slower increase in share price (should keep it between about 5 and 10 USD for a while)
- An increase in daily rewards for each share (increase in APR (direct rewards) and reinvestment)

After we see the actual effect of the halving on rewards and after a vote by the community (which will be added as a feature in the dashboard), we might slowly reduce the “x2” at the end of the formula to a “x1” (practically removing it) while keeping the share price stable. This way, we could further increase cash flow per share (instead of increasing the share price) and strengthen the long-term character of the project.
Dashboard language updates
Over the last few weeks, we have added and improved translations. Turkish is 100% done and currently being proofread and corrected (although it is already available in the dashboard). Spanish is about 90% and is currently being completed in the background. Czech is already being worked on and will be finished in the coming weeks.

UI improvements
A) Marketplace improvements
Since we have seen several users buy shares via the marketplace at a higher price than would have been necessary, we decided to remove the ability to purchase individual sell orders. Instead, the general “Purchase Shares” button in the community marketplace will automatically pick the cheapest shares available. This makes the UI easier to use and prevents community members with less technical skills from accidentally losing money.
B) Better dashboard navigation on mobile
On mobile, there is a navigation bar at the bottom of the screen now. The navigation bar contains the most-clicked target pages of the dashboard and should minimize the number of times we have to click on the burger menu to search for our target link. This is especially helpful for new users who want to check out the platform.
C) Drop-down menus and line breaks
All drop-down menus in the dashboard, as well as card text contents, have been improved for better visibility and ease of use. Before the update, text was flowing over the card border, making some text unreadable in specific languages like Russian and German.
Farm Updates
Regarding the farm for Infinity Hash, we did 3 bigger improvements and updates (apart from moving the living container to a better spot and improving the internet reliability by another connect; you can check out the pictures below in “Maintenance and Downtime”):
- All Infinity Hash containers got new concrete supports to protect against flooding and humidity. During winter, this will also prevent snow buildup from reaching the air intake side of the container, which could lead to damage.
- We started assembling shelves for the new container (size-optimized for the Whatsminer M50- and M60-series).
- Furthermore, we started clearing and flattening the next area for new containers. This is on the same property right next to the other containers and will be finished up with a layer of gravel to prevent dust and other small particle dirt from being kicked up by wind and walking during the dry summer months, which reduces maintenance work on dust filters for the containers as well as required downtime for cleaning the miners themselves.
Mantenimiento y tiempos de inactividad
In week 11, 2024, we got an additional internet connection at our mining farm and had to temporarily disconnect a transformer with problems for security reasons. The transformer was one of the new ones for Infinity Hash and directly went to warranty repair. Luckily, we had a replacement transformer ready to get everything running within a few hours. The additional internet connection will give the farm more bandwidth, less latency and better reliability.
In week 12, 2024, we swapped the replacement transformer with the one that came back from warranty repair, which fits better into its enclosure and resulted in a short downtime.
In week 13, 2024, we upgraded the first batch of Infinity Hash containers with new PDUs (power distribution units). The PDUs do cost a bit but have a lot of advantages contributing to the long-term profitability and stability of the project. Those advantages are mainly:
- Easier and faster maintenance (less time lost on adding cables or finding the right ones)
- Better power distribution stability results in more stable mining performance
- Extreme risk reduction because one faulty miner will now only lead to this one miner being cut off from electricity automatically without transferring the problem to other machines being plugged in the same simple power outlet
- Financial risk reduction thanks to built-in surge protection (no dead miners after small mishaps)
Uptime statistics
The total uptime for week 11, 2024 was about 97%, the one for week 12 was at about 98%. In week 13 we had no notable downtime.
Weather conditions
The current weather conditions at the mining farm are: Light rain. Fog. Chilly. Current temperatures at 1.16°C / 34.09°F provide good cooling conditions with the weather forecast showing an upward trend in temperatures. This should result in stable profits.
Transparencia
Because of the 5 day withdrawal pause from the 20th to the 24th of March, our public reinvest and electricity wallets also didn’t receive their USDT transfers on those days. The according BTC from mining rewards where exchanged on the right days as usual.
