This is our 57th post in the Infinity Hash Semanal Update series for Sep 2, 2024.

This week we added no new miners. Mining profits for Infinity Hash stayed stable, with the share price for IHS going down together with Bitcoin.

You can always get a full overview of past charts and numbers on the Página de Actualizaciones Semanales.

Panel de Control y Actualizaciones de Funciones

a) We added a dusting function to the dashboard

If you have tiny amounts of IHS left after staking or selling your shares, you can use it to remove all leftovers with one click. It has a maximum of 0.1 IHS, so nobody can lose money by accident.

This can be useful from a tax perspective, to prevent receiving minuscule mining rewards even though you want to have xIHS only. Dusted shares will be burned!

b) The new main-page of the dashboard is online!

Here is a quick overview of changes and improvements (everything missing from the old main-page is going to be added to the new Statistics page!):

1. New Wallet section

The new wallet section shows the total balance as usual. We added directly accessible deposit and withdrawal buttons to make it easier for new users and save existing community members clicks.

2. New Shares section

The new shares section gives a direct overview of the number of shares in the dashboard (including IHS and xIHS x ratio). This helps to visualize the effect of auto-compounding and holding xIHS.

3. New Rewards table

The only change of the new rewards table is to limit the shown number of preview entries to 5 to decrease text and clutter on the main page.

4. New Hash Rate chart

The new hash rate chart shows the actual hash rate of the shares (IHS + xIHS) in the account, which is far more relevant for each user. The total pool hash rate of the project will be moved to the statistics page.

5. New Reward Pools section

The new reward pools section got two smaller improvements, that should make using them much easier:

  • A pool for IHS (formerly displayed as auto-compounding) was integrated
  • You don’t have to click on save anymore after changing your pool allocation! Each change is saved automatically

6. New Transparency and Help links

If you click on the “?” symbol in the top navigation, you now get a pop-up with all relevant links for Support, Transparency and Social Media. This allowed us to make the main page cleaner and will make it much easier for new users to get support in case they need any.

This was also added on mobile to provide direct access.

7. Page navigation clean-up

We cleaned up the navigation to different pages of the dashboard on mobile and desktop, making it easier for new users to find what they are searching for and making everything a bit cleaner.

8. New mobile bottom navigation

To allow for a better mobile experience and easier navigation for new users, we also improved the mobile navigation bar on the bottom. The entries are those pages that are visited most often.

c) Other development efforts and roadmap

Here is a list of current development efforts, that are being finished right now and will go online in the near future:

  1. A new version of the affiliate page including more down-line data and tools
  2. The new statistics page including important CSV-download integration for CoinTracking
  3. xIHS deposits to the dashboard

All other development efforts like an xIHS DeFi dashboard, potential liquidity farms and further UI improvements for the dashboard (slowly working towards an app) will be continued right after the 3 points above are finished and online.

Protective canopies for containers

In order to be prepared for all weather conditions, we have decided to modernise our current protective canopies over each container. Metal sheets have been brought to the farm for this purpose. Work is currently underway at the farm to assemble the framework for these canopies for all the containers.

Community Vote #8 is implemented

Community vote #8 (“Should we increase the minimum IHS price to $2”) is implemented now. This means the share price calculation formula in the background was updated to set a $2 minimum for new shares sold. We also updated the share price calculator.

Community Vote #9 is closed

9 result - Infinity Hash Weekly Update #57 – Sep 2

Our ninth community vote is closed with the community voting in favor of focusing on buying more efficient Whatsminer M60 models in the near- to mid-term. Here are the results:

  • Yes: Focus on buying more M60 miners: 97.33%
  • No: Keep buying a mix as we do now: 2.67%

What will happen next?

We are ordering more Whatsminer M60s! Over the last weeks we collected over 15,800 USDT on our reinvestment wallet which should be enough to order at least 4 M60 miners. We withdrew the funds for purchasing them in this transaction and should be able to break our 100 PH/s milestone this or next week.
